The UOVBA is privileged to assist your church in hosting a block party. A block party serves as a platform to focus on people outside the church for the purposes of relationship-building and evangelism. By utilizing attractive items like a bounce house, cotton candy machine, and/or a live band, your church can connect with people who do not know Jesus and engage them with the Gospel.
In light of our commitment to equipping and assisting churches, we are providing the following training materials for the safety and the success of your block party. These tools provide a user-friendly overview of proper bounce house set up and cotton candy machine operation. Because the Safety Section of the West Virginia Division of Labor requires proper training and documentation, all churches desiring to use the block party trailer must complete the following training certification and return it to the UOVBA before picking up the trailer. Training certification should be completed each year and may be done online by clicking the button below. Those who wish to submit a hard copy may provide the completed form to our Associational Administrator Chuck Morrow in one of three ways: 1) by email; 2) in person during office hours; or 3) via the U.S. Postal Service. Please note that the latter option may delay the reservation process.
The videos below must be viewed by an authorized church representative in order to complete the required training. Every church must also abide by the official UOVBA Trailer Guidelines. In addition, to make your block party a success & safe, please review the following documentation & manuals about the UOVBA Bounce Houses. May the Lord bless your outreach efforts and touch many souls through this ministry!
