Evangelism Training and Resources
The mission and vision of the Upper Ohio Valley Baptist Association is to serve, supply, and strengthen local churches in cooperative fulfillment of the great commission. We hope that the resources provided on this page help your church reach its community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
All of the training videos below are segments from an "Evangelism Toolbox" training we held at the association office. Please understand that at some points of the videos you will notice some lag time. Please be patient during those hiccups. Speaking in the videos are Tim Turner, Director of Evangelism & Discipleship for the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptist, and Chuck Morrow, Director of Mission for the Upper Ohio Valley Baptist Association. In addition to the videos, we have listed the links to receive the evangelism kits for free from NAMB (North American Mission Board) and the Slides for the entire "Evangelism Toolbox" training.
At the bottom of this page, we have two videos, one from Johnny Hunt: Fanning the Flame of Evangelism in Your Church, and one from Jimmy Scroggins: Creating a Culture of Evangelism. You will also see two free books from David Platt and Shane Pruitt with links to order them.
The only resource you have to pay for, if you choose to use it, are the "FAITH" cards. We have provided a link to where you can purchase those cards if you choose to use them.
We have a limited supply of these resources available limited to 1 full kit with all of the pieces of training for free at your association office.
